Nearly there....

JULIA BURNS ARTIST AT PARTISAN & THE FRENCH HOUSE

With a website up and running, business cards on the way, mail chimp sent, all there is left to do, is to get the paintings on the walls....

Julia Burns Artist will be exhibiting a collection of her abstract artwork in the eclectic Partisan & The French House on Micklegate in York. The exhibition runs from 1st March until 1st May, the opening being on Wednesday 1st March, next week!

Born in County Durham in 1962, Julia Burns studied painting at The Slade from where she graduated in 1985. Since then she has exhibited worldwide, notably in London, Europe, Japan and the USA, as well as, undertaking numerous commissions both, in the UK and abroad. Her large abstract paintings are extremely popular with prominent collectors of contemporary art.

Partisan is the ideal venue for Julia’s work; a beautifully curated cafe and restaurant, full of eclectic antiques and vintage wares for sale, complimenting the art work in a relaxed atmosphere. I can also vouch for the delicious menu....
