A colourful evening with @colourcollectiveuk @colorplan_papers @gfsmithpapers in Newcastle last night at @northumbriauni hosted by @louisagrogers fashion and communications lecturer and founding committee member of *Colour Collective UK.

A thought provoking insight to the world of coloured paper, incorporating design, music (synesthesia) and much more.

*Colour Collective UK, a not-for-profit organization that promotes colour education through multidisciplinary workshops and lectures that incorporate neuroscience, visual culture, art history and psychology.

A teeny weeny slice of the most amazingly sustainable and beautiful Christmas decorations @burtonagneshall

Take a bow @oliviacunliffelister and team 🏆 every year you out do yourselves 🤩 this year you have surpassed!

Exquisite, handmade, decorations made from dried flowers (from the BA garden), paper, lace (East Yorkshire lace makers group), corks, fruits, wool, fallen branches all savoured and reused to decorate the Hall in all its glory. You guys are the real deal! Congratulations ✨💫✨

Reminiscing … searching for an image and went down a rabbit hole… one of the many events I organised pre-covid. Pop Up of the North 💙 Happy days with spectacular people.

The venue was a mix of old and new, downstairs had been tarted up, and upstairs, not usually open to the public, was beautifully raw, the perfect backdrop for my exhibitors.

@watts1874 ‘Bodley’ Daffodils in the Breeze alongside a pretty fabric in Ivy Cottage 🏡 one of my favourite properties and the first one I was involved with at @broughtonsanctuary fresh out of the Covid pandemic.

I found the fabric in the textile room and the wallpaper was remnants from Top Lodge which showcases many of @watts1874 papers and fabrics.

‘Tower’ by environmental artist Steve Messam @rougeit on a perfectly wind blown evening.

A poignant spectacular reflecting on how Bradford has been physically shaped by the natural landscape which surrounds it. The tower is inspired by stone drawn from the quarry of the country park and clad in the fleece of local sheep breeds, drawing on the role of wool in the industrial heritage of the district.

This one is particularly nature led situated in a secluded spot on the estate, surrounded by the ongoing, Broughton Sanctuary, rewilding project. Each bedroom is named after animal habitats, making them all very individual and original and as you will see, they have the option of superking or twin (apart from the bunks!).

Looking forward to the papers going up next week after some last minute guests check-out! Professional photos on the way too.

In the meantime, the property is available to book online or by calling the Estate Office.
